Apple rolls out iOS 27 with Siri AI public beta powered by Google Gemini-derived foundation models
Apple released iOS 27 on September 14 with the public beta of Siri AI, powered by next-generation Apple Foundation Models distilled from Google Gemini, English-only at launch and unavailable in the EU and China.
Apple 于 9 月 14 日（北美时间）正式推送 iOS 27、iPadOS 27、macOS 27 与 watchOS 27，重构版 Siri AI 同步进入公测。
Siri AI 使用 Apple 与 Google 合作蒸馏的新一代 Apple Foundation Models，首次在出货产品中由非 Apple 自研基础模型提供核心能力。Apple 强调，模型在 Apple Silicon 设备端运行，云端推理通过 Private Cloud Compute 完成，并表示对话内容不会离开 Apple 基础设施（包括 Google 在内的外部方无法获取）。
在能力层面，Siri AI 可跨 Messages、Mail、Photos 进行检索，理解当前屏幕内容，撰写邮件，并根据自然语言创建日程。它还接入了 Spotlight 与系统级右键菜单。10 月将新增法语、日语、韩语、葡萄牙语与西班牙语支持。
在可用性方面，Siri AI 仅支持 iPhone 15 Pro 及以上机型，需要 iPad 配备 M1 及以上芯片；欧盟因《数字市场法》与《AI 法案》合规问题暂不开放，中国市场同样暂不开放。Apple 同时引入每日使用上限，并暗示未来可能为更高用量提供付费层。
Deepwater Asset Management 管理合伙人 Gene Munster 在 X 上指出，iOS 27 推送初期 Apple 服务器出现过载，Siri AI 的实际响应时间在 5 到 15 秒之间波动，与 2024 年 10 月 Apple Intelligence 发布时遇到的情况类似。
